Chantal joined OP in September 2022. She was previously employed by Cheyne Capital Management as a fund accountant. Prior to that she worked at Prescient Fund Services (South Africa) as part of the Hedge Fund administration team. She started her career at Maitland Trust Services (South Africa) in 2010. She graduated from Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Accounting degree. She is a member of the Operations team.

Charlotte Dicker
Charlotte Dicker joined Oldfield Partners in 2022 as Responsible Investment Lead. Charlotte previously worked in Consultant Relations, with a focus on ESG and Defined Contribution solutions, at State Street Global Advisors and Wells Fargo Asset Management. Charlotte holds an International BA in History and an MSc in Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

Chris Driver
Chris joined OP in October 2009. He started his career at Schroders in 1994 where he stayed for 12 years, initially as a fund manager’s assistant and later as functional head of fund management support. He has also held positions at Dalton Strategic Partnership as head of operations and Insight Investment as head of investment servicing. He is Chief Operating Officer.

Adam joined OP in February 2024. Previously, he was an Investment Sales Manager at Montanaro Asset Management for 3 years. Prior to this he held similar positions at BNY Mellon, Franklin Templeton and Spring Capital Partners. He started his career as a Stockbroker before moving into Asset Management in 2014. He is responsible for relationship management and business development in the UK and Channel Islands.

David Mace
David joined OP in March 2024. Previously he was at MFS Investment Management for 20 years where he managed the EMEA institutional business and served as a board member in the UK and Luxembourg. Prior to that he was with JP Morgan Chase in asset management for 8 years based in New York, Hong Kong and London. He started his career as a financial consultant at UBS and financial analyst at American Express. He is a graduate of Wittenberg University.

Richard Oldfield
Richard Oldfield founded Oldfield Partners LLP in 2005, after 9 years as chief executive of a family investment office. Before this, he was director of Mercury Asset Management plc, which he joined in 1977. He was Chairman of the Oxford University investment committee and the first chairman of Oxford University Endowment Management Ltd from 2007-2014.
He is now chairman of Shepherd Neame Ltd, and trustee of a number of charities. The second edition of his book “Simple But Not Easy”, a “slightly autobiographical and heavily biased” book about investing, was published by Harriman House in December 2021.

Tom joined OP in June 2008 from Alta Advisers Ltd. In 1999 he joined Alta Advisers, then headed by Richard Oldfield, and was responsible for managing emerging market equities portfolios. Before this he was an investment analyst at Adam & Co., based in Edinburgh. He graduated from St. Andrews University and Stirling University. Nigel is one of the founding partners of OP. He was previously at Merrill Lynch Investment Management ('MLIM') for 13 years. He was a director and portfolio manager on the global team. Debbie Clarke
Debbie is one of the most prominent figures in the institutional investment management industry. She retired from Mercer last year after more than 15 years as Global Head of Investment Research, having joined the firm in 2005 from then Watson Wyatt. She currently serves as a non-executive director of a number of BlackRock’s legal entities in the UK, is a member of the CFA UK advisory council and was an independent trustee to one of the UK’s most notable pension schemes until the end of 2020.

Beatrice Hollond
Beatrice is Chairman of F&C Investment Trust PLC and is senior independent non-executive director of Telecom Plus PLC. Bea is a main board director and Chair of Remco (US) and Chairman of the International Advisory Board (UK) of Brown Advisory and Chairman of Millbank Financial Services Limited. She also advises a number of family offices. Beatrice spent 16 years at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Global Fixed Income after beginning her career at Morgan Grenfell Asset Management. Bea is a trustee of The Prudence Trust and is Chair, trustee and member of the investment committee of Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. Bea is a member of the finance committee of Salisbury Cathedral and is a member of the finance and audit committees of The National Gallery. She has an MA in Oriental Languages (Arabic) from Pembroke College Oxford, where Bea has a Supernumerary Fellowship and is a member of the investment committee.

Susan Wood
Susan was educated at Oxford University. Since 2002 Susan has run her own investment consultancy, providing advice on manager selection to charities and wealthy families. Susan has 19 years experience in fund management at Barings (1981 to 1990), Mercury Asset Management (1990 to 1996), Saudi American Bank (1996 to 1998) and Alta Advisers Ltd (1998 to 2000). Susan is a non-executive Director of MT Management, a Governor of St George's College Weybridge, a Trustee of Tower Hill Trust and a Member of the Advisory Committee of Charifaith, and also serves on five separate investment committees helping clients to monitor the investment strategy and returns of their managers.
